Product Development, Patented Technology & Custom Manufacturing Experience

Hongkun combines long-term rubber-product manufacturing experience with patented product development and application-specific engineering for shot blasting rubber tracks, conveyor belts, bucket elevator belts, and wear-resistant rubber components. Our dedicated laboratory testing and production quality-control capabilities are presented in the following section.

Early Domestic Rubber Track Development Early research and production experience for Q3212 (1850) rubber tracks and tear-resistant constructions.
Multiple National Patents Patented developments related to rubber tracks, industrial belts, and production technology.
Custom Application-Specific Engineering Product structure, compound, reinforcement, holes, cleats, and dimensions are reviewed for the application.
Development Experience

Early Q3212 / 1850 Rubber Track Development

Hongkun is among the earlier Chinese companies engaged in the research, development, and production of Q3212 (1850) tumble-blast rubber tracks and tear-resistant track constructions. This experience supports replacement development for different machine sizes, workpiece loads, perforation layouts, cleats, sidewalls, reinforcement structures, and operating conditions.

Engineering confirmation may include track width, perimeter, thickness, drainage-hole diameter, hole spacing, edge distance, cleat height, cleat pitch, carcass design, and existing failure conditions.
Intellectual Property

Patented Product and Process Development

Continued investment in product development has resulted in multiple national patents . Development work covers rubber-track structures, industrial belt constructions, reinforcement arrangements, production methods, and application-specific product improvements.

Patent ownership reflects Hongkun’s product-development and manufacturing background. Final product construction is still selected according to the machine, material, load, dimensions, and approved technical requirements.
Custom Manufacturing

Drawing-, Sample- and Machine-Based Engineering

Replacement and customized products can be reviewed from approved drawings, confirmed dimensions, machine information, photos, operating data, or existing samples . This is especially useful when an original part number is unavailable or when the existing product requires adjustment.

Before production, the technical team reviews materials, dimensions, tolerances, reinforcement, tooling, processing methods, inspection points, quantity, and delivery requirements.
Step 01 Application Review Machine model, dimensions, operating conditions, workpiece, conveyed material, load, and failure history.
Step 02 Drawing Confirmation Width, perimeter, profiles, holes, cleats, grooves, tolerances, edge distance, and connection details.
Step 03 Material and Structure Rubber compound, cover grade, reinforcement, carcass construction, drilling layout, and processing method.
Step 04 Production Confirmation Approved specifications, inspection requirements, quantity, packaging, documentation, and delivery.

Technical note: patent history and early product-development experience demonstrate Hongkun’s manufacturing background. Final suitability and performance depend on the approved specification, machine condition, installation, workpiece or material characteristics, operating load, and maintenance.

In-House Material Testing and Quality Control

Laboratory Testing and Production Quality Control

Hongkun uses in-house laboratory and inspection equipment to evaluate selected rubber compounds, reinforcement materials, semi-finished components, and finished products. Testing supports material selection, process control, dimensional verification, and final product inspection according to applicable specifications and project requirements.

01

Rubber Tensile and Elongation Testing

Tensile testing measures the force required to stretch and break a prepared rubber specimen. Elongation testing records the change in specimen length before rupture under the applicable test conditions.

Results are used to compare rubber formulations and check whether tensile strength and elongation values meet the approved specification or customer requirement.
02

Abrasion Resistance Testing

Abrasion testing measures rubber volume loss under standardized contact and friction conditions. The test helps compare rubber compounds intended for belts and wear-resistant parts exposed to abrasive materials.

Results support compound selection for applications involving clinker, ore, aggregate, mineral powder, shot blasting workpieces, and other wear-intensive materials.
03

Thermal Aging and Tear Resistance Testing

Thermal aging tests evaluate changes in rubber properties after controlled heat exposure. Tear resistance testing measures the force required to continue a cut or tear in a prepared specimen.

Test data supports compound evaluation for products exposed to heat, repeated flexing, impact, edge stress, and demanding industrial operating conditions.
Material Verification Review of selected rubber, fabric, steel cord, and reinforcement materials.
Process Inspection Monitoring of dimensions, preparation, forming, vulcanization, drilling, and assembly steps.
Performance Testing Testing items are selected according to product, specification, and application requirements.
Final Inspection Confirmation of appearance, dimensions, quantity, packaging, and approved inspection requirements.

Testing items and sampling frequency may vary by product type, order specification, production stage, customer requirement, and applicable test method. Laboratory results support quality evaluation but do not independently determine actual service life.
