1. Hole Diameter (d): the diameter of each bucket mounting hole.
2. Horizontal Hole Pitch / Pitch Across Belt Width (p1): the centre-to-centre distance between adjacent mounting holes for the same bucket, measured across the belt width.
3. Vertical Bucket Spacing (p2): the centre-to-centre installation pitch between successive bucket groups along the belt-running direction.
4. Edge Margin / Free Edge (e): the distance from the centre of the outermost mounting hole to the belt edge.

Also state the number of hole rows and the number of mounting holes per bucket where applicable.

The phrase pre-drilled bucket elevator belt can describe a finished belt delivered with completed holes. For the manufacturing process, CNC waterjet hole cutting or precision-cut mounting holes is clearer than calling the process punching.

5. Cover grade can also be refined later

• Name the conveyed material.
• For a heat-related application, provide the actual material and operating temperatures available to the buyer.
